Where's that manual?

Where did we go? Seriously - way too much time has elapsed since our last post. To be honest, Mami had a long entry with wonderful photos and well, lost it all - including photos (family and pumpkin patch) - so it was a tough "pill" to swallow for a few days. Anyway - we are back.

Words we love to hear from the mouth our babe:

Yellow: "Lellow" - Mami's absolute favorite.
"What's him?" translates to "What's his name?"

Our car got a wash from a certain, cute 2-year old. He loved it. He felt so big and important!

Someone got a gift certificate to Young at Art - so we headed to 19th Street in our 'hood.
Little B. got to pick what he wanted to paint: the choice was narrowed down to a train or a car. The car was the winner and Benjamin had a 5-minute attention span for painting - which is quite impressive since he had NO attention span a few months ago.
And, Benjamin cannot go painting without a friend - so Charlotte was his painting buddy.

Benjamin is going through a "favoritism" phase. He favors the parent who is not disciplining him (sigh). We must say - this is a tough phase. As much as we would love to continue to report how sweet our little monkey is - he is certainly heeding the label, "terrible twos". Stubborn is his new middle name.

Benjamin has learned how to "push the stall button" when it comes to bedtime. Demands for more books, water, and fake coughs have become a new ritual.

We are currently trying to find that "how to manual" that came with Benjamin but have come up empty. ;)

In a nutshell, our baby boy is growing up so fast.

Happy Halloween to you all. We will have lots of cute photos to post for next week!

Ah I know I say this in every comment but he looks SO old in these pictures. his hair is so dark too! that one of him in front of the painted tiles is incredibly adorable. I'm excited to see Halloween pictures!

Yellow actually should have been named "lellow"...it has a much better feel to it! Master B is correct as spoken!
