Happy Birthday to Our Favorite 1-Year Old...

Today was a big day of reflection and nostalgia. Benjamin has literally rocked our world.

So, in hopes to get that signature cake-in-the-face photo, we gave our little guy a cupcake.....

We attempted to feed it to him after we sang Happy Birthday; but, he was having none of it. He threw the sweet dessert to the ground in complete disinterest. Papi even tried to feed the cake to him but Benjamin's lips remained closed. He did; however, eat grapes. Go figure.

Ben enjoyed tearing the wrapping paper from his birthday gift...which led to chasing bubbles in the yard. It was an special day for an extra-special person. Feliz Cumpleanos, mijo!







Last weekend, Benjamin made new friends...

A little Slip and Slide fun at a neighborhood playgroup. Slip and Slide has come a long way from sliding on trash bag days. ;)



Ben has recently started a new trick - he likes to raise his hands above his head. He continues to enjoy clapping, too.
