A Week of Firsts...

Benjamin went to the park and experienced the swing - you judge his sentiment on this event:

Benjamin visited Santa as well...we were really curious as to whether he would be accepting of Santa or fearful but he took the experience well. We felt like we were dressing a "doll" in grown-up clothes. He made us smile the entire time. He had a good time hanging with the Guerrero side of the family, too.

Look at our "Captain Drool":

Benjamin is still attempting his crawling. As of today, he has managed to pick up the butt and he has his half push-up almost perfected at the same time. He definitely has figured out how to scoot. Baby-proofing is only a weekend, two, or three away. It's only a matter of time. We are sure he would prefer carpet but our hardwood floors should break in those knees well enough for "tough" skin.

And, yes, last week we mentioned the grabbing - he continues to extend his little arms in hopes to stick anything he catches in his mouth. He does not discriminate because everything looks appealing. Makes for an interesting day - on a daily basis. :) If only the cats knew what is soon to be in their future.

Benjamin loves to smile - it doesn't take much for him to smile now. Hunger compels the opposite response.

As you can see, Benjamin is in the Christmas spirit:
