We managed to squeeze in a quick bluebonnet "session" with our little guy. Remember last year? The hair is getting shorter and he is getting taller.
He was patient enough to allow us to get a handful of cute photos.
Then it ended with our usual exercise as of late. "The chase". (Sigh!)
Then, we headed back to Brazil...and this is how little Benjamin handled the flight.
Another wonderful charm of Rio is that in the midst of the hustle and bustle of city life there are random hidden jewels of lush tropical parks. The park that we toured translates to Two Brothers Park (Parque Dois Irmãos). Benjamin enjoyed the orange "seeds" from the trees.
He even got some swing time in as well. It was a great day of wearing out our little toddler...
We kept an eye out for a monkey spotting but no such luck. Perhaps, next time.
Despite the lack of monkeys, we did enjoy this view.
It was a fun afternoon of discovery.
Classic Benjamin toddler face..probably making car/truck sounds.
We are currently enjoying the company of our first visitors: Grandpa/Grandma Gonzalez and will post some fun photos soon!
Till next time.

why is he so old?? at this point i should be used to the shock i feel everytime i look at pictures of him, as he looks immensely older with each passing week but it just never ceases to amaze me. i miss you guys and hope your time in houston was nice, i know mom and dad thoroughly enjoyed it. please tell benjamin i said hello, that is if he remembers me, it's been so long there's a good chance he doesn't. i can't get over how old he is, honestly, he looks like a completely different person from those bluebonnet pictures a year ago. it's just astounding. miss and love you guys!
Definitely more "boy" and less "baby" in the bluebonnet comparison! Wow... how a year changes a child's face!
Man, I guess the beach there in Rio is just always packed, huh? All those people look like ANTS. Ha... :)
I'm working on the skype thing THIS WEEK. Promise. It's high on the list... I just didn't get to Best Buy this past weekend. Cheers G Family!
