Memories to be had and to be made.

As most of you all know by now - our year-long postponed move to Brazil is finally happening. If everything goes as planned, we will be hopping on a plane Thursday night to start a new adventure in Macae, Brazil. Benjamin's blog will be a bit delayed as we regroup and get back into the groove...But before we go on a "hiatus", we must give you all a sweet glimpse into a few worthy moments of our lives.

Since life has been a bit chaotic, things pass by. More snow photos from Christmas in Dallas were found and they are just too cute to not post. So enjoy the photos.
Uncle Marcos handing little B. a snowball.

Nick's priceless smile.

Eating Snow.

Making a snow angel with help from Uncle Marcos.

Once again, another birthday has crept upon us. This time it is Cousin Lillian - she somehow has made three years pass like they were a snap from our fingers. Since this was his first trip to Chuck E. Cheese - we thought for sure Benjamin would be terrified of Chuck E. Cheese but he certainly proved us wrong.

Happy Birthday to the one and only and THE sweetest niece in the family.

Happiness is clapping!

And, the ultimate thumbs up.

One day, he will learn to throw the ball into the correct lane.

Benjamin had one last hurrah with his buddies until they reunite again.

Moving too fast...Phillip, Truitt, and little B.

Miles, a nurturing, kind soul.

Kai, the "thinker".
Sweet baby Mathis.

The only friend missing from little B's play date was Charlotte. You will be missed Big C!

Thanks for following our journeys for the past couple of years and we hope you will continue to read about our little guy's life in a different part of the world.

For now, this is not goodbye, but see you soon. We will miss our friends, family, and friends who have become family (you know who you are) very much and want so much for you all to stay in touch.

Till next time (from Brazil)

Glad you made it safely. We were sorry to miss the last playdate but look forward to seeing you in March. Soak up the sun, a new language, this whole new experience. Much love, Melanie
