SNOW:
So, yes, we had snow AGAIN in Houston and this year was MUCH more fun. Remember last year?
Benja was completely baffled by the "white stuff" falling from the sky. To be frank, it is a bit strange for us, as well. It's very odd to get snow two years in a row. It was bittersweet for little B. because he really wanted it to last much longer. His nap time cut into some of the fun. He loved making snowballs
and eating the snow
Maybe one day, he can make a snowman with "real" snow where it is the norm.
We headed to Wonderwild again for a play date with Benjamin's usual cute suspects.

We need one of these ball pits in our home so we can all swim in a plastic orb bath.
We built a fire in our backyard to enjoy the cooler weather and a mesmerizing fire. Yet another fascination for our 2-year old. He wanted to poke at the firewood and touch the fire. Um, NO.
Lights on the porch:
The Christmas spirit has been rampant in our home and this year we had a very eager helper. Decorating the tree makes a curious Ben.
For the outdoor lights, little B. got out his tool box and his hammer and pounded.
Lights in the Heights:
Our neighborhood throws an annual tradition of sight seeing holiday lights, porch entertainment, and it has a parade with a Santa visit. Talk about a very satisfying time for our little guy. He LOVED the parade and asked for more when it ended.
On our way to the festivities: Look who is happy...
Santa and Mrs. Claus parade float:
One of many wacky sights of the night.
Favorite word of the week:
"Soup Case". What is a soup case? It's that "thing" you take to the airport that holds your belongings.
