Lady Bugs and Potty News

So, yes, we KEEP talking about potty time because it has been a big deal in our home. Benjamin peed in the toilet 4 times last week! We are extremely proud of our little baby - um...our little BOY. We don't push the potty training so things have slowed down a bit this week; however, we don't mind being patient.

Reading a little bit of Rolling Stone while waiting (and waiting, and waiting)....
Since Benjamin is basically in repeat mode these days - we will just write down our favorite words:

Thank you: "Dan Ooo"
Snake: "Nake"

And, well, the word "truck" continues to dominate our household. He even sleeps with his truck books if that explains his affinity for trucks.

Benjamin went to a very exciting birthday party over the weekend. He got to hang out with his buddies Truitt and Kayla (the birthday girl). There were approximately 36,000 ladybugs released and the kids loved them. Little B. was thrilled to have them crawl all over him. Some favorite photos from the festivities:

Lip-smacking fun:

The I-Don't-Want-to-Share "dance" on the ground. (In other words a temper tantrum).

And, this will be the "last" count of how-many-months old Benjamin is because it really isn't necessary to say he is a 115 months old at this point. So, cheers to the last month of Benjamin's one-year old life as he is one month closer to the terrific twos! So, Happy 23-months old day (tomorrow) Benjamin. You have grown up beautifully and rapidly before our eyes.

Benjamin wishes his Grandpa Guerrero a speedy and healthy recovery.

Till next week.
