Yes, you read that right. Benjamin got his first serious and real kiss from the cutest little girl ever. Last Friday, we went to Jax Grill to listen to some awesome zydeco music. Benjamin learned how to move his little feet. He used to just dance with the top half of his body kinda jerking from side to side. But, that night he learned to pick up his feet. He lifted each of his feet and then would stomp them back down. So, as he is watching the band and hanging/flirting with another little toddler girl - she is puckering up and bending her head toward Benjamin. The whole transaction felt like it was in slow motion and Benjamin didn't really seem to know what was going on but she planted her cute little lips on Benjamin. They had an audience and everyone was clapping after it took place. Benjamin started looking around and clapping, too. If only we had a camera at that very moment. It was truly a "Hallmark" moment. Mami is proud, but will make sure he isn't allowed to kiss any more girls for the next 20 years, at the very least.
Trucks. Benjamin squeals and calls them "bah, bah", "bah, bah". Not sure where this term comes from nor the reason why he loves trucks so much. Metro buses, diesel trucks, box trucks, garbage trucks, tractors, you name it - he loves them.
