Teething, Shrieking, and More

So, our little guy has 8 teeth now - 4 on top and 4 on bottom. Three of the little pearly whites have sprouted since his birthday. So for 3 weeks he has been hard at work cutting teeth. We salute you Benjamin!

Also, somehow Benjamin has managed to become even cuter than before. I know, I know we are completely biased - but wow - he is a heart melter.

Shrieking - what exactly can one imagine the sound of a shriek can be? Ear piercing? Annoying? Alarming? All of the above? The answer is the latter - all of the above. Why do we ask? Well, because Benjamin has recently discovered the potential of his lungs. He likes to scream out in public which scores lots of looks from strangers. Luckily, he screams with a smile or curious stares would follow. Nobody told us about this weird phase. We are starting to believe that the "terrible twos" could perhaps be a misnomer because the independence stage has already begun.

Ben has figured out how to open even more cabinets and the last of the non-child-proofed areas of our home. The kitchen has become a nightmare - oven, refrigerator...

Benjamin went to a Houston Comets game with his cousin Lillian. They had such a great time and enjoyed the crowds, sights, and noise. They were pretty still considering they are toddlers. Goldfish and crackers seemed to be the best trick to satisfy their needs. The snacks kept their squirmy ways to a minimum.

Lilly tried to kiss Benjamin but his touchy phase stopped the cute event.

Sharing toys....

Trying to dismantle his new tent....soon he will stop trying to pull it down and will take full of advantage of its hiding potential.

Grilling with his Papi...

Till next week. Note to our blogger family/friends: Be good to your ears.
