Benjamin had a blast last week and a half...
Things that are new:
He says "da da, ga ga in between his babbling.
He stands on his own.
He loves the sound of the hair dryer.
He bites his parents (arms, shoulders, hands, feet)
He loves yogurt, peas, cheerios, and guacamole (not all at the same time).
His "little" cheeks are quite squeezeable now...they are getting more "cheeky".
Separation anxiety - oh my - wow....
He enjoyed a dip in the pool (thanks to our neighbors)...he mainly wanted to stand and play w/ the water hose...but he enjoyed himself immensely.
A dry baby is a happy baby! Look at that smile...
Ben made quite a mess so that he could make both his grandmas a Mother's Day Card!
New toys also make a baby very happy. These "blocks" are the perfect tools to assist Benjamin with his walking skills. He pushes them all over the living room while shrieking and talking.
Benjamin enjoyed his first Art Car Parade...he endured the heat and even took a nap throughout the commotion.
Mother's Day was a full day. We did our almost annual tradition of walking in the breast cancer walk for Y-Me. We enjoyed the weather and our company with "Aunt Kristin".
Ater the walk, we visited the Guerrero grandparents in Friendswood. We enjoyed the day by visiting outside and admiring the kids (cousins) as they played. Mami had an extra special day and enjoyed her first day as a mother on Mother's Day.
We hope you all had a wonderful weekend/week with your loved ones. Till next week.
