He Loves his Hands

Yep, he is still gnawing on those fingers/fists. There's no stopping his determination. He sucks on them until his skin is wrinkled.

The latest developments:

Benjamin is flipping himself over more and more. We found him sleeping on his stomach with his little butt up in the air. It would have been a cute photo op but reaching for a camera at 3 a.m. isn’t ideal (for us).

Ben has a bit of a hair loss in the back of his hair. He is doing the typical baby hair shed. We find his hair comical, stylish, and endearing. Move over Trump - he's got spikes on top and the comb-over in the back.

Ben continues to "talk" so if you feel the need to converse with someone who will listen and chat back with you - he is the one!

Benjamin suprised his grandma in Dallas this weekend. He had an excellent time bonding with his grandparents.

Although, road trips in his car seat are not his forte (four hours strapped down is a long time for a 3-month old) - he did great for about 3/4 of the way. The invention of ear plugs was a divine invention.

Benjamin also hung out with his cousins, Keith and Nicolas. They found him entertaining with his bodily functions, specifically his role as "fart boy". We tried to get Nicolas to change his poopy diaper but he refused the offer.

We also visited our friends Trey and Vicki in Dallas - along with their lovely 3 children - Benjamin fit right in with the family and felt at ease.

Benjamin continues to bring us great joy and he continues to help us define our roles as a mother, father, daughter, son, sister, brother, and friend. We thank Benjamin for making us better people. We are so glad that we have so many loyal readers who are "watching" Benjamin grow with us. Thanks for the comments and appreciation. We write this blog for you.
Here's to the beginning of Benjamin's 13th week of life. Till next time.
