One lovely Sunday - we took an outing (a roasty, toasty one) to Hermann Park. We rode the train, had a picnic, fed the ducks, and roamed the Japanese Gardens. We had a great time watching our monkey explore...however, we very MUCH look forward to the weather cooling down.
Here are some captured moments from our eventful morning/afternoon:
Every day, we notice that Benjamin is changing. One such obvious change is our latest trip to Pump It Up. Last time we were there, we were at a birthday party and Benjamin was about six months younger - and to sum up his experience - he cried. This time - he was all over the place, running with the big boys, climbing steep steps, sliding down steep slides, and jumping high in the bouncy tents. He takes after his Papi because Mami is NOT a dare devil. In fact, the very slide he is sliding down - Mami was scared to go down. So, glad he has no fear...or should we be worried that he has no fear?

Another list of things we love (and always have loved) about Benjamin:
1. Sleeping with his little, cute butt in the air. Makes us want to squeeze him or scoop him up like soft ice cream.
2. Singing Wheels on the Bus, B.I.N.G.O., and Old MacDonald Had a Farm while brushing his little teeth. This is on demand from little B. When we ask which one he wants for us to sing, he says, "Bingo", "Donald", "Wheels on Bus". Hmmm...So, we sing one and then wants the other. Choices...If Mami were more savvy, a video would be posted here to show how cute his request is. But, alas, we will all have to make do with the thought instead of the visual.
3. Listening to B. "count". "Cinco", "Three", "Five" "Six" (usually in that order). When playing with other kids, he likes to stand against a wall (in preparation to chase) and he "counts".

You know, he looks different to me in these photos than he did the last time I saw him... which wasn't that long ago! Dang, time flies!
I can sing a song Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar, I didn't know there was a book. We used to sing it as kids. Can you please set that book aside for me to read when I visit next :)
