Happy Valentine's Day Benjamin! You give a whole new meaning to the word "love". One day Mom will get the question, "why did you put all these goofy bibs and clothes on me"....
Benjamin likes to take walks in the afternoons, loves a nap in the morning and afternoon, loves bananas, likes to be held, and LOVES, LOVES, LOVES this box:
Yes, this Huggies cardboard box is his favorite TOY. He stands on it, balances on it, talks to it, and bangs on it. He holds onto it while he grabs other toys and ocassionally falls when he loses his balance. We cannot really say that Benjamin is "cruising" but he is definetely fond of holding onto things to balance and get to his next destination. He has endured brusies, scrapes, and several head bangs, too. He is not walking by all means - but he is standing quite a bit - thus causing our third eye to work overtime.
Here's Benjamin's first Valentine's cake....next year he will be able to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Cheers to Ben's day filled with love. Mom was VERY excited that she was able to finagle an hour of baking time while Benjamin played (dad was at work).
Baby Got Drool!
A BIG milestone! Mom found Ben standing up in his crib last week. Talk about a surprise - mom had to rub her eyes and realize that it was HER son that was standing up, holding onto the crib rails, screaming his "happy" morning cry. What happened to the baby who couldn't even control his neck muscles? Somehow, this little baby has become a little boy???
