So, we discovered Benjamin can "climb" and hold himself steady in the standing position. He can hold his weight for about 15-30 seconds before stumbling to the ground. He is top heavy so his big head likes to fall first. That third eye on the side of our head is getting a workout.
Benjamin loves to chase the kitty cat and she isn't too keen on playing with him.
However, Papi is always happy to play with him.
Chewing his hand is still a fun sport for Benjamin. He still drools but he drools a lot less than he used to.
The boys like to hang out in their rockers - and Mami enjoys listening to them "chat" as they rock.
Benjamin has become a fun "buddy" to take on errands and such - yeah, we know we need to enjoy this time before he starts to walk and the inevitable "no" phase becomes our standard drill. But he is somebody to talk to and to share new information. Oh, and Mami has fallen in love with the HOV lane. Talk about easy cruising!
We have to slow the little guy down as he crawls all over the house. He has found the cat's water bowl. He has found the bathroom, the books on the lower bookshelf, and any dust bunny that is on the floor. Exciting times are in store for our future! Eyes are growing all over our heads.
